Meet other conscious professionals in Cornwall

If you think you fit the idea of a conscious professional then you probably do and you will be more than welcome to come along!

Guided tour

Wildlife Trust rangers will guide us around the local area and let us know what to look out for on our walk

Walk and talk

Conscious Creatives will guide the group into open conversations and offer gentle leadership ideas to discuss

Raising Money for Wildlife

If you have a great time then we can help process donations to the Widlife Trust who look after the land that we walk on

Built with people in mind

We want to encourage everyone to enjoy time in nature with us. We also recognise that networking, meeting new people and being confident can also be a challenge.

  • Meet the CC team before the event
  • Have a buddy along the walk
  • Walk without the talk

Dogs are very welcome on our walk but please note you are 100% responsible for their behaviour and we ask that you keep them on their leads while we walk.

Sand dunes rise steeply from the beach at this reserve. The inland dunes have wider vegetation cover. The pyramidal orchid grows here, and glow worms and the silver-studded blue butterfly occurs here. The ruins of the National Explosives Works are highly visible here

Sustainability

We couldn't run an event without of course including an element of sustainability. These events will be measured and included in our 2021 Impact Report. If you've not read our 2020 Impact Report then you can find a link to the free download by clicking here

  • Supporting the Sustainable Development Goals - Goal 15: Life On Land
  • Creating a Carbon Footprint
  • Understanding the impact of our events through the lens of Social Value

SDG 15: Life On Lands

By working with Cornwall Wildlife Trust our aim is to promote the importance of biodiversity and land management. We will hear and share what CWT are doing to support everyone from farmers to households with a back garden. Each event we will have a talk from local rangers to explain why each area is significant and how we can be most respectful of our surroundings as we walk.

Carbon Footprint

After you complete your registration you will be sent a short survey that will help us understand how people will be travelling to our event. We will be hopefully connecting people to share rides and reduce the amount of individual car travel and as events go on we will learn and reduce our footprint. At the end of each event we will offset double the carbon created through our offsetting partners Terra Neutra.

Social Value

Part of our process will be to ask you to complete another survey both before and after our events. We appreciate this is a lot of surveys and data but we promise they are short and easy. What we are trying to do is understand the non-financial benefit of our events. We believe that by bringing people into nature and offering deeper connection that we will bring about significantly more than just new business. We just need your help in measuring it.

Reporting

After each event we will create a short breakdown on the sustainability impacts. Then each year we will review the event as a whole and as mentioned above, include these impacts in our overall Impact Report for 2021. This data will also be available for you to use and if you would like help understanding it then please let us know and one of our team will be able to help.
