What will we evaluate?

We will either ask for access to your accounts or for you to submit your creative, targeting and landing pages for us to review across 6 important criteria...

Offer

You build the best marketing campaign you can, everything seems perfect, it's a sure fire winner and the nothing...no purchases. No conversions. Nothing. 


We often rush our market research or don't have a strong enough brand position to actually have a strong offer that pulls our desired customers in. We will evaluate how your overall brand/ad offer work together in your paid media.

Copy

The number 1 rule for copy on ads is that it absolutely cannot be boring. If it sounds like it's been written by AI then it won't work. It should be emotional, entertaining, funny even, just not boring.


The number 2 rule is that it must be clear. The reader must know what is expected of them and why they have been targeted by this ad. They must understand it is for them. We will look at both landing page and ad copy in our evaluation.

Creative

We will want to see videos, pictures, graphics, icons, anything that you use to visually explain your offer.


Great creative grabs attention without being over the top or flashy. It is branded well and is uniquely yours. As with copy it needs to be clear, on target and we will be looking at both landing page and ad.

Coherence

Coherence between ad and landing page is one of the most underestimated parts of a successful traffic campaign. It's easy to scale ads but it's more difficult to scale landing pages and this is where we see lots of brands (especially the big guys!) make big mistakes. 


A great ad with one headline and colour palette heading to a landing page with a different heading and colour palette but the same offer will leave the user confused. You do not want your users confused. They must always know why they are there and that you are a brand they can trust. 

Targeting

Depending on whether we have access to your accounts or if we are evaluating creative, we will ask about your targeting. The trick is for cold traffic (new users) that you want it to be broad enough for the platform to deliver your ads and learn but not too broad that you are not finding people ready to buy! 


We will look at your targeting on the ads and in the account in general. Are you taking advantage of retargeting? Are you using all of the available warm traffic (returning users that haven't bought)?

Technicality

The final marketing check is for those who we have access to accounts for. Here we will look at your overall setup. Are you using consistent naming conventions? Are you using all of the APIs, connections, conversions etc? Are you setup to clearly know what traffic is bringing you the bucks?


We may also check in on your reporting capability and evaluate your Google Analytics setup. 

Sustainability

Last but certainly not least is our magic ingredient. Sustainability is not a nice-to-have anymore, it's an absolute necessity. Your competitors are working on it and so should you. 


It is still a USP but it won't be forever. Take advantage now by leading your sector through sustainability. We will evaluate your sustainability by looking at your product, your website, your business through the Doughnut Economy Decision Making Wheel and analysing your publicly available data.
